You do not choose a Cause,
a Cause chooses you
Dan & Linda Neve
On Thanksgiving Day 2009 after my mother informed me that she had breast cancer it had entered our lives. But 6 weeks later, the second week of January 2010 changed our lives forever. This is when my wife was also diagnosed with this disease.
It was then that I decided that I needed to do more than be just a supportive shoulder for my family, I needed to make a difference and so Cruise for a Cause was born.
Breast and Prostate cancer impact way too many women and men and our Hope is that one day my grandchildren can say that they knew friends and family who suffered from these diseases, but when they themselves are grandparents can say now they don’t - as I did with those suffering from polio when I was a child. I knew individuals who suffered from that disease and now I know of no one, this is the goal of Cruise for a Cause!
Our mission is to bring the
Message Of Hope
to those who need it
and along the way find the
finances to cure it!
Since the arrival of my Shelby GT500 in the spring of 2010 I have used it as a mobile bill board by adding those businesses names and logos to the car who have made a specified donation. The car has attended automotive events across the country, visiting 23 states, and has been featured at SEMA.
The Shelby is driven to all events as its purpose is about being seen and raising awareness. We will continue on this journey as long as Hope for a cure is still needed.
Cruise for a Cause finishes its year by hosting the FALL CRUISE FOR A CAUSE in scenic Wisconsin Dells the first full weekend of October. This event is open for all to attend and a chance to see some of the finest kept Ford vehicles throughout the Midwest.
As a 501c3 charity and the fact that we volunteer our time and efforts your donation can and will make a real difference
Please check out the rest of the site
and any donation you can make
is greatly appreciated!
Thank You Dan
